My Story: The Bathroom Floor Breakdown That Changed Everything
A few years ago, I was that woman who looked successful on paper but was drowning behind closed doors. I was a staffing manager working 60+ hour weeks, climbing the corporate ladder, and carrying $90,000 in debt that felt like a weight I'd never escape.
The breaking point? Finding myself on my bathroom floor at 2 AM, ugly crying and praying for God to show me a way out. My marriage was suffering, my son barely saw me, and I was trapped in a cycle of working harder just to stay behind.
That's when I made a decision that changed everything: I wasn't going to wait until I was debt-free to start living again.
The Discovery That Changed My Family's Future
While researching ways to make extra income, I stumbled across something called "mystery shopping"—getting paid to shop, eat, and experience life while earning money. As someone whose love language is shopping, this felt too good to be true.
But it wasn't.
In just 14 months, mystery shopping helped us pay off $41,000 of our debt. We got out of debt in 4 years instead of the 8 years it would have taken following traditional advice. More importantly, we started living our lives again—going on dates, taking family trips, and enjoying the present while securing our future.
